I bring my (old, deaf, mostly blind) bichon here, and it's the best experience I've had with him and vets. They express his anal glands and do his toenails on a regular basis. The doctor is clearly an animal lover who takes his work seriously. Bottom line: I can't think of anything negative about Crossroads. Every town should have a veterinary hospital this good.
Great Vet great Nurses great every one there. Really caring for your Animals needs.
This past week I had a horrible experience with Dr. Schroeder. I was dropping off my 1yr old dog to be spayed at 8am. They presented the bill to me and I declined heartworm test, lyme vaccine, and flea treatment. One of his employees went to get him and he came out to the reception area with a very condenscending attitude questioning me if I would sue if the dog died during surgery. I stated "I would sign a waiver." He proceeded to question "why even spay her." As I was leaving, he stated "since you think you're a doctor" and I replied "It's my choice." I have never been treated with such rudeness, disrespect, and unprofessionalism. If you question this review please ask the young women that work for him. No other client was there since it was early in the morning. I feel if I was a man I wouldn't of been treated this way. If this is your policy to have all these vaccines and tests done prior to surgery, it should be reviewed at time of scheduling. I was only told that vaccines need to be up to date which, I took as 1yr booster. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I feel I take very good care of them. No, I don't get everything done that is recommended if I feel its unnecessary or simply can't afford it at the time. Will definitely be finding a new vet.
Amazing people, very clean lobby and rooms. Very friendly and spent a few minutes getting to know my cats before going through the check - up. Couldnt imagine a better place to take my fur-babies
I can’t say enough nice things about Crossroads. Dr. Schroeder and all the vet techs are so wonderful with our dog. When we have an emergency they always get us in right away. They are very thorough and answer all our questions. They are so sweet with our dog -who can be a bit of a handful. I highly recommend them.
