My home is currently under remodel from a horrible renter experience. I stop in daily to pick up my mail. Lately, I have not been receiving ANY mail and have been expecting some VERY important pieces of mail. I called the post office to find out where my mail is going and was told I would be given a return call the next business day. After my patience had been worn thin, I called again only to be told that the mail carrier told them he had spoken to the landlord and that WE had advised him to stop bringing our mail there. Why? Why would you tell such a lie? You also told them the address was vacant, not knowing that we still reside there, but are having our home remodeled completely so of course it APPEARS to be vacant. I now have to trace what mail I was expecting so that said mail can be reissued. What a horrible thing to do and the mail carrier should be punished. Tampering with mail is what this is considered.
I have had problems since 2008 with my mail always being delivered one day behind everyone else's. I don't even like mailing things from my own box because it never makes it to destination. I have found mail on the ground, outside, opened etc... Complained to local post office in Painesville, OH it goes on deaf ears. I have given up trying. I just expect it to always be one day late like clock work. Local office is no better.
Althlough i am Mentor resident i always come to this place because of staffs from this office are a thousand times more helpful than Mentor post office staffs.
For the most part always busy. Not enough staff on counter every time I go in. Be sure you don't go there over Christmas time! The line can be out the door! Not a lot of parking space either since it was renovated some years ago. I will state that the entire staff there are always friendly, professional, and as fast as they can helping assisting you!
No problem they are always helpful especially when i am the one who needs help.
